I sold my TT RS. Wouldn’t have thought this day would come so soon. Crazy to think I’d already owned it for over seven years and still managed to get what I did out of it!
I bought the car (While I had her, her name was Shadow – because shadow is the only thing faster than light) in August of 2018 for $65,555. I tried to purchase three other TT RS locally, but each one either sold out from under me or the Dealership being… less-than-polite (Audi Mentor lost the sale purely because of their mistreatment) caused me to recoil in disgust. I drove all the way out to Audi Hunt Valley in Cockeysville, Maryland to buy this one!
Looking at what I spent vs what I got:
I paid $64555 in 2018.
I got $43000 in 2025.
Over seven years, that’s $21,555.
Yearly, that’s $3,079.
or $256 per month!
The car was a Certified Pre Owned vehicle and had 7,335 miles on it when I bought it. I sold it with 43,829 on the odometer. That’s 36,494 miles that I put on it. Overall that means I paid about $0.59 per mile I drove.
